    • William Emerson Green, 77, years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. B. W. Caswell in Williamstown, last Friday afternoon following a shock which he suffered last Tuesday. Mr. Green had been in poor health for the past year.

      Mr. Green was born August 25th, 1850, in Williamstown. He was a son of Philo and Mary Lovejoy Green and had spent practically his whole life in the same local vicinity. He was a carpenter by trade. He had many friends and was much respected by all who knew him.

      He was an attendant of the Seven Day Advent church at Williamstown. He leaves the daughter; Mrs. B. W. Caswell, of Williamstown, with whom he made his home, also two other daughters, Mrs. George Britton of Kasoag, and Mrs. William Chapman of Erie, Pa.; and two sons Arthur Green of Utica, and Ruben Green of North Syracuse, also two brothers, Lorenzo Green of Mexico, and Lathan Green of Westdale.

      The funeral was held at the Seven Day Advent church in Williamstown Sunday with a prayer service at the home. Rev. W. W. Rice, of Utica, officiating. Burial is in Williamstown cemetery.
