- Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, August 18, 1962 Oswego Palladium Times - Frank D. Hooper - Syracuse - Frank D. Hooper, 79, of 210 Lincoln Ave., a retired toolmaker, died last night at University Hospital. Mr. Hooper lived in Syracuse 60 years and was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church. He was born in Altmar, son of the late Sanford and Almina Wright Hooper. Survivors are a son, Howard Hooper of Syracuse; a granddaughter, Mrs. Donald Tinkham of Syracuse; a great grandson, niece and nephew. A grand nephew is the Rev. John Russell of St. James Church. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Callahan-Hanely-Mooney Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Lucy's Church, where a solemn high Mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home, 101 Milton Ave.
