- Newspaper Obituary - Friday, November 13, 1959 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - A solemn high Mass of requiem for Mrs. Mary A. Hooper will be celebrated at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Patricks Church by her grandson, Rev. John Russell, assistant pastor of St. James Church. Prayers will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Callahan-Hanley-Mooney Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Hooper, 93, of 101 Milton Ave., widow of George Hooper, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Morgan Russell, Wednesday night. She was a native of Ireland and lived in Syracuse 70 years, formerly residing at 464 Whittler Ave. Besides her daughter and grandson, she is survived by a son, Earl Hooper; five other grandsons, and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call at 101 Milton Ave. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
