Deceased was born in Dublin, New Hampshire but when a lad removed with his parents to what is known as the Newton Thompson farm, two miles north of Pulaski, New York, and in the town of Sandy Creek. The house now standing on that farm was built by the father and grandfather of the deceased. Addison Muzzy, early in life, united with the Pulaski Congregational church. He graduated from Hamilton College, Clinton, New York, in 18, and four years later from Auburn Theological Seminary. His first pastorate was at Bristol, Ohio. About this tune he was married to Miss Laura Ann Pease of Auburn. In 1850 he removed to Illinois as the representative of the American Tract Society. In 18_ he removed to Ottawa, Kansas, where he died. He lived a godly life and was highly respected and loved by all who knew him. Only a very few of the older residents of Pulaski and vicinity will remember the deceased, who was an older brother of the late Lawson Muzzy. He was the last surviving member of a family of twelve children.
