  Jessie E. Sharp - 1886 - 1898. Daughter of William Hart and Kate J. Mahaffy Sharp. Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 19, 1898 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Lehigh District - It is with deep regret that we write of the death of Jessie E. Sharp, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sharp, aged twelve years. She was a bright, active and lovable child, devoted to her books and much loved by her schoolmates, teacher and friends. All was done during her short illness that loving hearts and willing hands could do. The funeral was held on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and was largely attended. Rev. C. H. Guile officiated. Beautiful flowers, which she dearly loved, the gift of loving relatives and friends, covered the casket. Members of Pulaski grange and the Sunshine Mission band of the M. E. church both sent a floral pillow. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of their friends and neighbors in their sad affliction.
