Funeral services on the 17th inst., in the school house. Sermon preached by Elder Caton of Holmesville, from 2 Timothy, 4 7:8. She was very steady to attend meetings when able, and ever ready to tell of her joys and to earnestly exhort sinners to seek salvation. She had been blind eleven years, and in that time very often walked to the schoolhouse nearby with someone to lead her. She was highly esteemed by her neighbors. A faithful wife and tender mother. She leaves a husband, four sons and a large circle of friends mourn her loss, who wish in this way to express their thanks to their neighbors for their great kindness to them in this time of affliction.
