      Newspaper Obituary — Wednesday, March 21, 1900 Pulaski Democrat — Pulaski, New York — New Centerville — The death of Charles J. Babcock occurred Saturday evening, at 8 o'clock, aged 44 years, after a long illness caused by liver trouble. He had been confined to his bed but one week and was tenderly cared for by his wife assisted by his neighbors. Mr. Babcock was a kind neighbor of the genial and social nature and will be greatly missed among a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Besides a wife he leaves one sister, Mrs. John Pickett, and an aged mother who have the sympathy of all. The funeral will be held at his late home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. H. C. Shears will officiate, interment at Pulaski.
