      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday Evening, May 3, 1899 The Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York -Daysville, May 3 - On Monday, April 24th, occurred the death of Mrs. Eliza Loomis, an aged and much respected resident of this place. Her husband, the late Lyman Loomis, died more than fifteen years since. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Ripsom, of this place, and Mrs. F. L. Brown, of Syracuse, and one brother, Elias Manwarren, of Daysville. Funeral took place from her late residence on the State road last Thursday, the Rev. Mr. Johnson, Mexico, a former pastor officiating. Mrs. Loomis's long life of eighty-three years was one of great usefulness and she will long be held in grateful remembrance by her relatives and many friends.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, May 3, 1899 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Daysville - Another of our inhabitants has answered the final call to her reward. Mrs. Eliza Manwarren Loomis, aged about eighty-five years. Perhaps no one was better known or more universally respected than Mrs. Loomis, having been born in this place and passing her long and useful life here. Of her immediate family, she leaves a twin brother, Elias Manwarren, and two daughters, Mrs. F. L. Brown, of Syracuse, and Mrs. Henrietta Ripson, of this place, besides several grandchildren. The interment was made in the Daysville cemetery beside her husband who died many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Brown, Miss Jessie Brown and Master Curtiss, of Syracuse, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Loomis, of Oneida county, were among the relatives fi-om a distance who were present at the funeral.
