Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 9, 1908 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Last Friday night at her home in this village occurred the death of Mary E., wife of E. Morgan Marvin, after a long period of ill health, which was borne with marvelous patience. Mary E. Burdick was born in the town of Albion, 34 years ago, and was the daughter of the late Ransom and Ellen Burdick. Fifteen years ago she was united in marriage to E. M. Marvin and to them was born one daughter, Gladys. They have been residents of this village a number of years and Mrs. Marvin won many friends by her sweet womanly manner. She was a member of the Baptist church and had been a prominent member of the choir. Besides the husband and daughter she is survived by her mother, one brother, Ernest Burdick, of Pulaski, and two half brothers, George W. Morton of this village and William T. Morton of Gloucester, Massachusetts. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. L. Ehle, at the home. Mrs. H_ Thomoson and Mrs. W. H. Vincent sang. Members of Ontario Chapter, D. A. R., and of the Baptist Woman's Missionary Society attended in a body.
