    • Obituary - Garrett Ryan Lazore - Mar 31, 1989 - July 24, 2017 - Garrett R. Lazore, 28, died in Atlanta, GA due to a severe head Injury, suffered in a car accident July 22, 2017. Predeceased by his grandfathers John H Lazore Sr. Patrick M. Scudo his cousin John C Heindorf. He is survived by his loving parents; John and Bonnie (Scudo) Lazore and his sister Sydney M. Lazore. Grandmother’s Wanda J. Lazore and Pamela M. Scudo, aunts/uncles: Theresa(Kevin) Saumier, Cynthia(Robert) Burns, Michelle Lazore, Barbara Lazore, Timothy (Sharon) Lazore, Shawn(Cindy) Lazore, Becky (Charles) Heindorf, Jenny (Erin) Fitzgerald and Sean Scudo as well as many great aunts and uncles, cousins and countless co-workers, teammates and friends. Garrett worked in several trades as a Construction Worker and most recently he was an Ironworker apprentice in Baffin Land, Canada in the Arctic Circle with the LaFramboise Group. He looked forward to joining the Ironworkers Union Local 387 in Atlanta, Georgia, where he had relocated to just a week earlier. Garrett was a jokester and full of life and made friends easily because of his fun loving nature, his irresistible smile, his compassion, willingness to help others, and his ability to talk to anyone. He was a huge Pittsburg Penguin fan and his mother disapproved greatly, but it was just another one of his strong beliefs in what he loved and he could not be persuaded otherwise. His travels took him many places for work and play. He traveled to countless cities and towns for his time with the Syracuse Stars as a young travel hockey player, a Letterman at Paul V Moore High School, The Matrix of the Onondaga Nation Junior B - lacrosse team, selected to the Mohawk Nation Junior A - lacrosse team and a broomball player on Woody’s Broomball team all by the age of 21. His greatest passion was box lacrosse, he was a talented player and will be missed by those that played with and against him. His love of the game which he shared with his dad, started in the family backyard and continued for over 20 years. Garrett played box lacrosse in U.S. and Canadian tournaments as well as the Denver Indigenous games in 2006 where he was well known as a talented player. He will be missed by those who knew him and those that never had the opportunity. A celebration of Garrett’s life with be held at a family friend’s home for everyone to share stories on Saturday Sept. 2, 2017 at 13 Dianes Mill Path, Central Square, NY starting at 1 PM.
