    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 14, 1901 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Port Ontario - Mrs. Sophia Doane Brown, of Phoenix, Arizona, died at that place, July 18th. Mrs. Brown was a native of Port Ontario and was a sister to Mr. Samuel Doane. Besides Samuel she is survived by a husband, two daughters and three grandchildren in Phoenix, and one brother, Monroe, who resides in Canada.
