    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 7, 1898 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mrs. Etta Stowell, wife of N. S. Stowell, and daughter of Orsamus Potter, Sandy Creek, died last Tuesday night after a long and painful illness. Her funeral was held at her late home Thursday, September 1st, conducted by Rev. T. T. Davies. She was forty-three years of age and was buried in Evergreen cemetery beside her daughter, Iva, whom she so deeply mourned.
