Newspaper Article - Wednesday, March 20, 1901 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Port Ontario - George Bohanon and Mrs. Alice Nelson have received news from their sister, Mrs. Martha Harding of Apalachicola, Florida, of the recent death of her husband, Prosper G. Harding. Mrs. Harding has the sympathy of her many friends of this her former home.
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 5, 1908 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - George Bohannon, of Selkirk, stricken Tuesday with paralysis while descending some stairs at the Pulaski House, causing concussion of the brain, was removed from the hotel to the residence of his son, Frederick Bohannon, Park street, where he died Wednesday evening, remaining unconscious up to the time of his death. The remains were taken to Selkirk, Thursday, and the funeral was held Monday. Mr. Bohannon was born in the town of Richland about sixty-one years ago and had always lived in this town. He was an expert fisherman and was a familiar figure in and about Selkirk and was well known. He leaves a wife and two sons, Frederick and George, of Pulaski, a daughter, Mrs. Edward M. Barnard, of Stittville, and five sisters, Mrs. James Eaton, Mrs. Pamelia C. Bettinger and Mrs. George Jones, of Pulaski, Mrs. William E. Nelson, of Selkirk, and Mrs. Mattie Harding, of Florida.
