- Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 31, 1900 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Amelia Eckel Jones - Mrs. Amelia Eckel Jones whose death occurred in Troy, last week, was born and lived in this village until eight years ago when she moved to Utica. Six years ago she married Mr. Milton Jones and two years ago they moved to Troy. She leaves a husband, one little daughter five years old, a mother and tluee sisters. The funeral was held from the home of her mother, and Utica, last Thursday. She was buried with the Episcopal ceremony, in the faith of which church she lived and died. The floral tributes were extensive and beautiful, expressing the love of many friends. Mrs. Jones was 38 years of age.
