Notes - Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 18, 1901 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mrs. John N. Stowell departed this life, Thursday morning, December 12, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Stevens. Her funeral service was held Sunday, at the residence of Gilbert Olmstead, Mrs. Olmstead being her daughter. Rev. T. T. Davies conducted the service. Mrs. Stowell leaves for daughters and two sons, her husband having preceded her to the better land ten years ago. Mrs. Stowell was a very exemplary lady, respected by all who knew her. Her illness was only a short one and all that loving hands could do was done by her devoted children, who mourn a kind and loving mother. Her age was seventy-six years. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Lucretia Shear, of Camden, attended the fimeral of her sister, Mrs. John N. Stowell.
