      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, April 9, 2001 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Virginia B. Geer, 87, Monroe, Georgia, formerly of Lowville, died Friday at her home. Mrs. Geer was a homemaker and lived in Lowville until 1992, when she moved to Madison, Indiana. She moved to Monroe, Georgia, in January. She was a member of Lowville Baptist Church, serving on many of its committees, and a member of the Lowville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. From 1995 until moving to Monroe, she attended First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Madison. Born July 28, 1913, on Horse Island, Sackets Harbor, a daughter of George and Ione Holloway Ward, she graduated in 1931 from Oswego High School. She married I. Ray Geer, June 16, 1934, at Oswego. Mr. Geer, retired New York state deputy commissioner of motor vehicles, died June 10, 1992. Surviving are a son, Dr. Bruce R., Monroe; a grandson and a great- granddaughter. Four brothers, Edward, Charles, Oswald and Frank Ward, and two sisters, Ruth Youngs and Ruby Geer, died before her. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski
