Charlotte M. Wood, 49, Skinner Road, died at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday at Oswego Hospital. She had heart trouble and had been in a coma for about a month.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Summerville Funeral Home, with the Rev. Janet Gibbs, pastor of Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 8192 Harwood Drive.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald J., superintendent of the Sandy Creek Highway Department; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Jacqueline) Totten, Pulaski, and Mrs. Christian (June Marie) Martinek, Pulaski; five grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A brother, Edward Ellis, died before her.
Born May 8, 1943, in Theresa, a daughter of Loid and Betty Beal Ellis, she was educated in Sandy Creek and Mannsville schools.
She married Ronald J. Wood Nov. 21, 1959, in Sandy Creek.
A lifetime resident of the Sandy Creek-Mannsville area, Mrs. Wood assisted with the bookkeeping for the town of Sandy Creek Highway Department.
