Lillian L. Wood, 73, of 87 Wood Road, died Sunday at her home.
Born April 17, 1926, in Ellisburg, daughter of Andrew and Bertha Loomis Nash, she attended Ellisburg schools.
She married Chauncey H. Wood in 1945. The couple spent their entire married life in Sandy Creek, owning and operating a dairy farm on Wood Road. Mr. Wood died Nov. 17, 1973.
Surviving are three sons, Erwin, David and Richard, all of Sandy Creek; four stepsons, Ralph, Robert and Ronald Wood, all of Sandy Creek, and Lyle Wood, New Mexico; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Fowler, Redfield; two sisters, Arlene Atkinson, Pulaski, and Loretta Drake, California; four brothers, Andrew J. Nash, Rochester, Marshall and James Nash, both of Adams, and Harold Nash, address unknown; two grandchildren, 16 stepgrandchildren and several step-great- grandchildren.
A brother, Alden Nash, died before her.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Snyder, pastor of Boylston Wesleyan Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Summerville Funeral Home.
