    • Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, March 28, 2015 Gainesville Sun - Florida - Edna H. Griffith, born August 12, 1925 in Auburn, NY, passed to glory on March 26, 2015, at Haven Hospice of the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, FL. Edna loved the Lord, her family, and the Florida Gators. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Griffith, her sister Mary, and her brothers Robert and Wayne. She is survived by her loving son Phillip, his wife Stephanie, her brother Paul, and her three grandchildren Tiffany, Zachary and Haley. She was a member of the High Springs Methodist Church for 25 years, where she sang in the choir, played the piano and organ. She moved to Ft. White and continued her love of music at the Fort White Methodist Church.
