      PULASKI - Ronald J. Wood age 75, of Pulaski, NY, formerly of Sandy Creek, died Feb. 11, 2010 at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

      Born Apr. 3, 1934 in the town of Ellisburg, son of the late Chauncy & Jennie Tyler Wood. He was educated in Sandy Creek schools. Married on Nov. 21, 1959 in Sandy Creek to the former Charlotte Ellis and they lived all their married lives in Sandy Creek. She died Oct. 27, 1992.

      He was employed as Highway Superintendent for the Town of Sandy Creek until retiring in 1999. He was a former park patrolman for Selkirk Shores State Park, former Dog Warden for the Town of Sandy Creek, and a former Sandy Creek Fire Dept. member. He was a member of Town Superintendent's Assoc. of Oswego Co.

      Surviving are 2 daughters & sons-in-law: Jacqueline & Leonard Totten & June & Christian Martinek, all of Pulaski, NY, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Phyliss (Robert) Fowler of Redfield, 3 brothers, Lyle of New Mexico, David & Richard of Sandy Creek, several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers, Robert, Ralph, & Erwin.

      Funeral Service Sat. 4 PM at Summerville Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Taber officiating. Spring burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours Sat. 2 - 4 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
