Gerald spent time on his computer, especially on instant messenger, connecting with the people he loved. For as long as he was able, Gerald enjoyed tending to his many flower and vegetable gardens and bowling. Every year, he loved visiting with his Fort Edward High School friends, at the annual picnics. Gerald was also an avid reader, especially enjoying science fiction and history.
Besides his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his two brothers, Kenneth J. Dickinson, who died on Jan. 16, 1994 and Frederick J. Dickinson, who passed away on June 9, 2008.
