    • Thomas E. Langer, age 64, resident of Pulaski passed away Thursday at his home. Tom was born June 10, 1953 in Glens Falls N.Y., the son of Edwin and Elizabeth Dickinson Langer. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1972 and from Onondaga Community College with his Associates Degree. Tom married Sandra M. Comins on July 25, 1981. He was employed by Crouse Hinds in Syracuse as a tool and die maker for 43 years.

      Tom was a member of the Pulaski Ringgold Fire Department since 1980, and had previously been a member of the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department. He was currently the Vice President of the Ringgold Fire Company and District Fire Commissioner for Pulaski. Tom was a former member of NOCA, serving as an EMT from 1980 until 1998. He was also a Boy Scout assistant leader for Troop #830 in Sandy Creek for over 20 years. Tom loved spending time with his family camping, hiking and canoeing.

      Tom is survived by his wife and best friend, Sandie, and his children Brian and Jodie Norton Langer of Baldwinsville, Rachael and Jeffrey Manni of Rockvale, TN, Tom Langer of Pulaski, two granddaughters, Addison and Brooke Langer, his mother, Betty Langer of Pulaski, three brothers, David (Georgette) Langer of Ridgeway, SC, Richard (Lee) Langer of York, SC and Jeffrey (Lacole) Langer of Cincinnati, NY and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be held noon, Tuesday, September 5, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday prior to the funeral.

      Donations may be made in Tom's memory to the Ringgold Fire Department, 12 Lake Street, Pulaski, NY 13142 or to the Boy Scout Troop #830 in Sandy Creek.
