Esther A. Cobb, 95, of Lacona, passed away Thursday at her home. She was born August 9, 1920 in Richland, daughter of Lyman and Lizzie Belle Obleman Richardson. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1938. Married April 16, 1939 in Richland to Walter S. Cobb. She was a resident of Lacona for 77 years. She was employed by First National Bank of Lacona and Merchants Bank, retiring as assistant manager after 30 years of service.
She was a former member of Rebecca's, member of the Coteri Club, Sandy Creek Baptist Church for many years before joining the Pulaski Baptist Church.
Survived by her husband of 77 years, Walter; two daughters, Nancy (Randy) Reed of Adams Center and Cheryl (Allen) Stagi of Lacona; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters.
Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Pulaski Baptist Church. Burial in Richland Cemetery. Calling Hours: Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. at Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek.
