William F. Gayne, 66, Pulaski, died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Gayne had worked for the Oswego County Department of Weights and Measures, P&K Manufacturing and Ed Nolan Machine Shop and owned the Just Small Shop. He was once a pin boy at the Pulaski Bowling Center.
Born May 21, 1939, in Pulaski, son of Floyd and Dorothy Coon Gayne, he attended school in Pulaski.
He married Jeannette M. Lawton on May 21, 1961.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angela and Joseph Hughes and Barbara and Shawn Learned, all of Lacona, and Cheryl Dunn, Sandy Creek; two brothers, Arthur, Pulaski, and James, Altmar; three sisters, Beverly Gayne, Mary Gayne and Norma Gregory, all of Pulaski, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Rupert L. "Bud" Fancy officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
