      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 4, 1881 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - A well-known citizen of this town, Mr. Erastus Trumbull, died very suddenly on Monday evening last Some two weeks since, he cut a finger with a scythe, and the wound rapidly developed into a case of blood poisoning, which terminated fatally. The deceased was about sixty years of age and was for many years a resident of this town. He had been for about five years a member of the Richland Board of Excise. Mr. Trumbull leaves behind him a very large circle of relatives and friends who deeply regret his death.
