    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 10, 1936 The Morning News - Danville, Pennsylvania - L. S. Cozzens Dies At Age 71 - Death of Local Man Occurs At Geisinger Memorial Hospital - Lewis S. Cozzens, Blecher Apartment, died at the Geisinger Memorial Hospital yesterday morning at 3:30 o’clock. He would have observed his 71st birthday anniversary in February. Born in Whitehall, N.Y., Mr. Cozzens was a resident of Richland, N.Y., where he was employed with the American Express Company for many years. He moved to Danville with his wife a year ago. Mr. Cozzens had been in failing health for the past year, suffering with heart disease and high blood pressure. He was a patient at the hospital 10 days during his last illness. Surviving is his widow, Rebecca Bird Cozzens, a sister of Mrs. John Patton, Lower Mulberry street. The funeral will be held at the Thad S. Vincent funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with burial at the Riverview cemetery, Northumberland. The Rev. Walter E. Brown, pastor of the Pine Street Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends may view the body at Vincent funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 o’clock.
