- DEANNA SUSAN KINSMAN RICH
RICHFORD - Deanna Rich, 58, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on July 28, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 30, 1948 in Ithaca, she was a daughter of the late Lauretta (Hilker) and Edwin Kinsman, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Clifford B. Rich; and her four children, Clifford E. (Char Reeves) Rich, Michelle (John Delles) Rich, Jason (Rebecca Kone) Rich and Laura (Mike) Holt; her eight grandchildren, Thomas Moon, Bobby Mix, CJ Rich, Jonathan Delles, Caley Cole, Hannah Holt, Levi Holt and Jaylynn Rich. The middle child of seven children, she is also survived by her siblings, Dawn (Ed) Fuller, Edwin (Alice) Kinsman, Delores, Donna, Jerald and Jeff Kinsman. Many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive; in addition, her and Cliff's special friend, Ernie Hamilton. She graduated from Ithaca High School in 1967 and was also a graduate of the Syracuse BOCES Nursing Program in 2002, thus fulfilling her life's passion and dream. Deanna always opened her heart and home to anyone and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
There will be a period of visitation at the Caroline Center Church on Wednesday from 11-12. A Funeral Service will follow there at 12 noon with Rev. Philip Jordan officiating. Interment will be in the Caroline Grove Cemetery. Contributions in Deanna's memory may be directed to the Lourdes Hospital Auxiliary, Binghamton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cooley Family of MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley.
