Charles H. Stewart, 63, of Liverpool died Monday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre.
He was born in Rochester. He was a graduate of Aquinas Institute, Rochester, and the State University colleges at Brockport and Buffalo. He retired as a special-education teacher, working for Crestwood Children's Center, Oswego County BOCES and House of the Good Shepherd. He was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors: His wife of 39 years, the former Mary A. Magin; a daughter, Catherine M. Lukaszewicz of Glen Allen, Va.; a sister, Patricia DiPaulo of Rochester.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Rochester. Burial, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester. Calling hours, 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool.
