      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, March 26, 2005 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Charles M. VanDuzer, 68, of 1336 County Route 41, died Thursday at his home_ Mr. VanDuzer owned and operated a farm on County Route 41 and later was a truck driver, owning a tractor-trailer. He retired in 2004. He was a member of Future Farmers of America, the National Hot Rod Association and Road Knights and founded the Road Eagles Hot Rod Club. Born December 21, 1936, in Burdette, son of Francis and Sarah Ayres VanDuzer, he graduated in 1954 from North Syracuse High School and served in the Army Reserves. He married Roxanne Olin on June 16, 1957, in Pulaski. Surviving besides his wife are eight daughters and five sons-in-law, Nancy and Bruce Butler, Lysander, Bonnie Brewer and Rosanne and Thomas Lissow, all of North Carolina, Jan and Fred Whitehead, Virginia, Jill and Peter Rath and Charlee and Peter Marthia, all of Liverpool, Misty Goodnough, Fulton, and Christie VanDuzer, Syracuse; a son and his wife, Charles and Trista, Pulaski; three sisters and their husbands, June and Richard Baker, Clay, Betty and James Sullivan, Pennsylvania, and Nora and Frank Valley, Lansing; 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek. Burial in South Richland Cemetery will be later this spring.
