Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 4, 1913 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Friday morning about eight o'clock, occurred the death of Willis H. Larrabee who has been in poor health for some years past. Mr. Larrabee was born in this village, May 11, 1857, was the son of the late J. H. Larrabee. He was engaged with his father in the manufacture of wagons in his early days. He married Sarah Battles, of South New Haven, who, with a son, Charles H. Larrabee, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, an adopted daughter, Mildred, one sister, Mrs. Delia Bateman, of Mexico, and an aunt who was a mother to him for the fourth of his life, Mrs. Matilda Drake, of New Haven. Mr. Larrabee was a man of sterling energy and work was his delight. He was a kind and indulgent husband and father and a good neighbor. His funeral was held at the home in North street, Monday, at one o'clock, conducted by B. G. Seamans, a warm personal friend of Mr. Larrabee. Mrs. William Eason and Miss Harriet Lane sang two selections. Burial in Pulaski cemetery.
