- MYRTLE LAVALLEE
Myrtle Nemier Lavallee, 76, Springbrook apts., widow of Emile A. Lavallee, died Tuesday, June 3, 1980 in Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been admitted Sunday.
The funeral was held Friday, June 6, 1980 at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with Rev. Dolan Morris, the pastor of Park United
Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wesleyan Cemetery, Lacona.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Nemier, Pulaski, and Stanley Nemier, Endicott; two daughters, Mrs. James (Ruth) Stassi and Mrs. Isabell Hull, Syracuse; a step-son, Eugene A. Lavailee,,Lawton, Okla., four step-daughters, Mrs. John (Emma) Brennick, Florida, Mrs. Claire Parkes, Hingham, Mass., Mrs. Roseanna McCarthy, Liverpool, and Mrs. Burke
(Rosemarie) Hyde, Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren;
18 step-grandchildren; a brother, George VanSicklen,
Workworth, Ont., and two sisters, Mrs. William (Clara) Cornelius, Workworth, Ont., and Mrs. Mabel Hawley, Marmora, Ont.
Born Aug. 15, 1903, at Norham, Ont., Canada, a daughter of Charles and Ida Palmateer VanSicklen, she attended Norham schools, came to Rochester in 1918 and worked there several years. She married Bert R. Nemier March 18,1926. They operated farms in the Boylston section until he died July 10, 1951.
She married Emille A. Lavallee Dec. 20, 1958. Mr.
Lavallee, a World War I veteran, chicken farmer and watchman, died July 14, 1967.
She was a member of the Pulaski Senior Citizens Club
and attended Park United Methodist Church.
