      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 17, 1889 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this town, October 11th, 1889, Maria Sophia Fellows, aged 81 years. The deceased was born in Tolland, Connecticut, in 1808. She moved to this State with her father's family in her young womanhood. She never married. While a young woman she devoted her time to school teaching. When her father and mother became aged and infirm she cared for them until their death. For the past five years she has made her home with Mr. Horace Ames where she died.
