- John W Wood, 63 a lifetime resident of Sandy Creek, passed away at his home July 29, 2017.
John was born June 20, 1954 in Watertown to Robert and Marie (Cummins) Wood. He attended Sandy Creek High School. John worked as a Carpenter and was a member of the Northeast Regional Carpenter Local #277 for 29 years. He also was a boat mechanic, welder and meat cutter.
John is survived by his wife Robbin, son John Wood, Jr, daughter-in-law Lyndie Wood, grandson, John Wood, III, his mother Marie Wood Mullin, sister Roberta Clark and brother- in- law Richard Clark.
He was predeceased by his father Robert and step father Dave Mullin.
