ELIZABETH CLEMONS, PULASKI, DIES AT AGE 52

Elizabeth "Bette" Clemons, 52, Sawmill Road, died Saturday in Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H. She had been ill with leukemia.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Park United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the American Legion, Northern Oswego County Ambulance or the Oswego County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
Surviving are her husband, Durrell "Corky"; three daughters, Tina and Teresa Clemons, both of Pulaski, and Tanya Clemons, Oswego; a granddaughter, and three sisters, Shirley Maneley, Mulberry Fla., and Patricia Tanguma and Linda Hathaway, both of Pulaski.
Born in Pulaski on Jan. 31, 1941, a daughter of James and Dana LaClair, she was a graduate of Pulaski Central School. She married Durrell Clemons on Jan. 1, 1960.
Mrs. Clemons was employed with Contel Telephone Co. and later with Key Bank.
She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358 women's auxiliary.
