- Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 17, 1891 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this village, September 12, 1891, John H. Larrabee, aged 65 years. Mr. Larrabee was born in Sandy Creek, New York, but for the past forty years or thereabouts he has lived in Pulaski. For a number of years he was general superintendent of the Ingersoll wagon shop. Later on he established himself in the wagon business on North street, in this village, where he did a large business. In addition to the warerooms and shops erected by him, he built eight pretty cottages for rental. He was an energetic, capable businessman and will be missed. He leaves a wife and one son, Will H. Larrabee, to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at his late residents on Tuesday, Rev. A. Bramley, officiating.
