LESLIE (MIKE) THOMAS, PULASKI, DIES AT HOME

Leslie (Mike) Thomas, 52, of 7659 Jefferson St., died Saturday at his home from an apparent heart attack.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St James Episcopal Church, Pulaski, with the Rev. Richard A. Clay, officiating. Burial will be at Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Contributions may be made to St. James' Episcopal Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ann G., a son, Gregory J., Pulaski; two daughters, Kelly J. Thomas, Lyons, and Cynthia Thomas-Nash, West Monroe; a sister, Beverly Thomas, Fulton, and three grandchildren.
He was born on May 30, 1939, in Gouverneur, a son of Veron and Celia Woodcock Thomas and moved to Pulaski in 1952. He graduated from Pulaski Central School in 1957 and then worked for AT&T company as an inspector until his retirement in 1986 because of ill health.
He was a member of St. James's Episcopal Church and St James's Mens Club, was second vice president of Pulaski Lions Club and president and secretary of the Salmon River Pool League. He was a former coach of the Pulaski Little League and former member of Ma Barker's Cribbage League and a former member of the Pulaski Jaycees.
