Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday Evening, May 2, 1917 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, May 2 - Funeral services for Mrs. G. Nye Atwood, whose death occurred Monday night following a short illness, will be held at the family home, about five miles south of this village, tomorrow at 2 p.m. Interment will be at the Willis cemetery. Mrs. Atwood, formerly Miss Laura Castor, was a native of the town of Orwell, where she was born April 28, 1866. About two weeks ago she was stricken and a severe attack of pneumonia developed. She had been a resident of this town a number of years and had a wide circle of friends. Besides her husband she
leaves her two daughters, Miss Ester Atwood, who lives at the Atwood home, and Mrs. Willis Manwarren of Fernwood; a brother, George H. Castor of Pulaski, and two sisters, Mrs. S. W. Matteson of this village and Mrs. H. H. Barot of Ellisburg.
