      George W. Dyke - August 13, 1869 - June 5, 1957. Son of Almon and Charlotte Wilson Dyke. Husband of Elvena Atkinson.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 13, 1957 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Funeral services for George W. Dyke, aged 87, who died at the home of his nephew, Howard Carl in Tampa, Florida, were held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home in Pulaski. Rev. W. Russell Clark, pastor of the Park Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in Willis Cemetery. Mr. Dyke was born at Texas, August 13, 1869, the son of Almon and Charlotte Wilson Dyke. He married Miss Elvena Atkinson in 1890. She passed away in 1950. Mr. Dyke was a 50 year member of Pulaski Lodge, I.O.O.F. He had lived most of his life on a farm, on the Lake Road, Pulaski. He moved to Tampa, Florida, about five years ago. Survivors beside Mr. Carl are two granddaughters, Mrs. Forest Case and Mrs. Harold Marriot, Pulaski; and a half sister, Mrs. Warren Edwards of Mexico.
