(Note: After his death, Cora married Charles G. Gilman and resided in Somerville, Mass. An only son of the marriage of Charles L. and Cora Goodrich, William Gardner Goodrich, born October 7, 1892, resided in Trenton, NJ in 1917.)

Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 3, 1894 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - At South Richland, New York, December 26th, 1893, Charles Goodrich, aged 29 years. Ever since the tragic death of his father, who was killed by the cars at South Richland many years since, the deceased had served as station agent at the place named. He made an excellent officer, and will be greatly missed from the place he so long occupied. He was buried on Saturday with Masonic honors. A wife and two children survive the father thus early and suddenly stricken down in the midst of his usefulness.
