      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 30, 1931 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Prattham - Again we are called upon to mourn the passing of a friend and neighbor, Mrs. Fred Harmes departed this life Wednesday, July 22, at the age of 41 years. The funeral which was very largely attended was held at the home Sunday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Rich, of Fernwood, officiating with interment at the Willis cemetery. The floral tributes were many and very beautiful. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hainies is survived by one son, three daughters, nine step-children, a brother and sister and many other relatives and friends. In behalf of the community, we extend heart-felt sympathy to the sorrowing family.
