Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday Evening, February 18, 1890 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Texas, February 17 - Sardius Dyke died at his home near this place on Wednesday last of pneumonia after an attack of la grippe. The funeral was attended on Saturday from his late home, it being his 77th birthday. He was the father of four son who survive him, Rufus Dyke of Boylston, Dennis Dyke, Almon Dyke and Sylvester Dyke, living neat their father's home, occupying farms purchased by the efforts and economy of their departed parent. His wife is now quite ill with pneumonia.
