Newspaper Obituary - June 22, 1967 Oswego County Weeklies - Mexico, New York - Fred J. Harvey, 88, died unexpectedly Thursday morning June 15, 1967 at the home of his son, Percy Harvey. A former resident of Maple View, he had made his home with his son since the death of his wife, Nina Perry Harvey on March 4, 1964. Besides his son he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Moward (Blanche) Robinson and Mrs. Beatrice Munson of Herkimer. Two grandchildren, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Smith of Mexico and Robert Harvey of Mallory and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in the Maple View Community Church on Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in the South Richland Cemetery, the Rev. Lullus D. Bell officiating. Mr. Harvey, who was born February 12, 1879 in England, the son of Adolphus and Lucy Harvey came to the United States at the age of 9 years.
