Newspaper Obituary - Friday, March 31, 2006 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Mary Etta Buck, Foster Mother - Mary Etta Buck, 96, Pulaski, died Wednesday at St. Luke's Nursing Home, Oswego. Mrs. Buck owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband and had been a foster mother to more than 35 children. Born March 26, 1910, at Sandy Creek, daughter of Freeman and Cora Nutting Coffey, she attended school in Ellisburg and had lived in Pulaski since 1935. She married Stanley Buck on September 15, 1935. He died January 28, 1990. She was a member of the Park United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son and his wife, Donald and Carla, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Deborah Fowler, died in 1992. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Foster-Flax Funeral Home with the Rev. Marilyn Stevens officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
