DONALD R. HUBBARD, 53, PULASKI NATIVE, DIES

PULASKI - Donald R. Hubbard, 53, Otisco, formerly of Pulaski and Syracuse, died Sunday at his home. He had a history of heart problems.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood, with Rev. Richard Pero officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Fernwood United Methodist Church.
Foster-Hax Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his mother, Ula Hubbard, Otisco; two brothers, Harold, Fernwood, and Howard, Pulaski; two sisters, Marguerite Mance, Alexandria Bay, and Roberta Hager, Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Pulaski June 16, 1935, a son of Claude and Ula Snow Hubbard, he was graduated from Pulaski Academy Central High School in 1953, and from Oswego State University College in 1985.
Mr. Hubbard owned and operated Bud-Air Machine Co. at Fernwood for many years. Prior to that, he was employed by the Lagoe Machine Shop, Oswego. For the past four years, he was employed as an instructor at Onondaga Community College, Syracuse.
He moved from Syracuse to Otisco one month ago.
Mr. Hubbard was a member of the Fernwood United Methodist Church and the New York State United Teachers Association. He was also a member and past master of Pulaski Lodge 415 F&AM, and a past Oswego district deputy grand master of Pulaski Lodge 279 Royal Arch Masons. Had been an active member of the Masons for many years. He never married.
