- SANDY POND - Funeral services for Mark O. Pearson, 72, of Oderkirk Road, who died Thursday at Mercy Hospital, Watertown, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St. A native of Rochester, Mr. Pearson lived in Sandy Pond for 26 years. He retired in 1987 after 37 years as owner and operator of Pearson Instrument Co., Sandy Pond. Mr. Pearson was a graduate of West High School, Rochester.
Mr. Pearson was a member of the Sandy Pond Sportmen's Association. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy; three sons, Mark and Stuart, both of Rochester, and Scott of Sandy Pond; a daughter, Laura Edick of Pulaski; a brother, Lawrence of Sodus; a sister, Winifred Deregowski of Rochester; and six grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
