Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 31, 1938 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Thomas E. King, 71, for more than twenty years a resident of this village, died suddenly at his home on Lake street, Tuesday morning. While he had not enjoyed very good health for some time, he was not considered seriously ill. Mr. King was born in Pine Brook in 1867, son of Samuel and Mrs. King. He followed the occupation of farming before coming to Pulaski where he entered the employ of the Charles Tollner Box Works. Mr. King was a quiet, unassuming gentleman, with a friendly smile and greeting for all. His passing will be regretted by all who knew him. He leaves his wife, Edith Allen King; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Twitchell and Mrs. Vann Balcom, both of Pulaski; two sons, Paul and Allan, also of Pulaski; and one brother, Frank King, of Ricard. Funeral Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, private. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening. Rev. W. A. Gardner will officiate. Burial in Willis cemetery.
