Newspaper Obituary - Friday May 5, 1961 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico - Mrs. Mabel Nan Tollerton, 74, wife of George H. Tollerton of Main Street, died last evening in the Har-Wood nursing home in Oswego where she had been a patient for a month. Mrs. Tollerton had been in ill health for some time Born in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania, June 9, 1886, the daughter of George B. and Sarah Griffith Jenkins, she was a member of WCTU and the Pulaski Seventh-day Adventist church. With her husband Mrs. Tollerton is survived by one son, Charles W. Tollerton of Mexico; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Delong, Urbana, Maryland and Mrs. H. Elton (Esther) Roach, Takoma, Maryland; two brothers, R. Phillip Jenkins, Howard, California and Harold Jenkins, Glendale, California; one sister, Mrs. John G. Mitchell, San Jose, California; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Gibbs Funeral Home with burial in Willis Cemetery, Richland. Elder C. A. Nelson of Canton will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
