Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 28, 1987 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Services for Leon Jackson, 63, of 7421 Salina Street, Pulaski who died Saturday, December 19, 1987 at the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital in Watertown, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be at South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours were 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 7385 Park Street, Pulaski. He was born in Fernwood and attended Pulaski District Schools. Mr. Jackson worked at Pulaski High School from 1958 to 1986. He also worked for the Oswego County Mutual Insurance Company, Parish, since 1948 and was president at the time of his death. He was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Ruby; one son, John L. of Pulaski; two daughters, Pamela Ennis of Largo, Florida, and Mary Joe Worthington of Adams; his mother, May Jackson of Pulaski; one brother, Herald Jackson of Piscataway, New Jersey; and nine grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Fernwood Baptist Church or Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
