      Newspaper Obituary - (date unavailable) 1983 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Pulaski - Glen A. Carpenter, 79, of Springbrook Apartments, Pulaski, died early Thursday morning in Mercy Hospital, Watertown, after a long illness. Born in Ridgeway County, Pennsylvania, he moved to Pulaski 76 years ago. He worked for Pulaski Metal Products and then managed the Pulaski Bowling Alley for owner Larry Pasco. He retired in 1965 from self-employment in the building and construction business. Surviving are his wife, Nira Harmes; two sons, Clayton F. of Plattsburgh, and Floyd E. of Pulaski; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Grace) Jarrell of Lakeland, Florida; his mother, Lillian of Lakeland, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Carpenter of Lakeland; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Earl M. Smith officiating. Burial was in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
