Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, February 3, 1940 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mrs. Florence Bentley Williams, wife of George W. Williams, died at the family home, 165 West Eighth Street, Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Williams was born in Pineville, New York and had been a resident of Oswego for thirty years. She had many friends, among whom she was highly regarded. Mrs. Williams was a member of Presbyterian church. Surviving are her husband, one sister, Mrs. Ina Halsey, Mexico; four brothers, Samuel Bentley, Lowville; Ike Bentley, Lacona; James Bentley, Syracuse, and John Bentley, Pulaski; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the family home. Interment will be in Willis cemetery, Fernwood.
